Holy Saturday

I was up early today and had quite a productive start before my usual Saturday morning meeting, held via Zoom.  I do love the elimination of the commute time.

I worked on my sweater again to the point I could.  I’m waiting for feedback from the designer so I’m in slight holding pattern.  That’s ok.  My pile of charity knits is growing in the meantime.

It’s fun to see what things are popping up to pass the time.  Mason continues to practice tricks with his yo-yo.  He is getting good at some of these.

Bill and I spent time this afternoon preparing our talk on Marriage.  There will be an Ad Altare Dei Zoom session next week and we are the designated speakers.

With the quarantine, there was no Easter Vigil fire to build. It might have been for the best since we had sunshine, then rain and late in the day, more sunshine.  This weather did throw a kink in our dinner plans.  Bill intended to grill but in the end, we did an about face and had an inside meal.  I cobbled together a Moroccan Carrot Salad and served it with spaghetti squash, bread and butter.

It was a peaceful day.
