Today was a happy Saturday! We had sunshine for a greater part of the day and Bill and I took advantage of that for an afternoon walk. We drove out to the westside to Mesker Park Zoo to walk the paths and see the animals.
Our first stop was the office where we dropped off three huge bags of plastics for their recycling project. Then we headed off to see the animals.
I’m counting this as one of my 21 walks with Bill in 2021.
The paths we were allowed to take now are different than before as flow is one way in many places. I missed the longer route but hopefully we will be able to walk that one again at some point in the future.
Mason helped me choose our mass tonight and based on the YouTube thumbnail, he chose Fr. Dave tonight. It turned out that Fr. Dave met both of the boys where they were. Mason liked that he incorporated rap in the homily and Walker appreciated his sense of humor.
When Bill returned from the office, we all enjoyed dinner carried in from Nachos.
