Because Mason celebrated his birthday at camp, we didn’t have an official birthday celebration with his friends. Instead, we invited three to come hang out (in the hammock, no less) and sleep over. We tried to make it as fun as possible. We ordered pizza and they played video games and watched a ton of YouTube.
The next morning we all went to see The Secret Life of Pets. After lunch everyone went home and Mason had a little time to catch his breath before we went to the joint Cub Scout Pool Party.
Our pack was responsible for the healthy snacks. I executed Bill’s vision and carved the pack numbers in the watermelon. I filled them back up with watermelon cubes. They were pretty easy to do and a fun addition to the buffet table at the pool.
