One of the highlights of the fall is Speech. For the third year in a row, Walker competed in the extemporaneous category. He found his groove and stuck with it. Let me summarize his standings in the four meets of the season he attended.
October 11, 2017 :: First Place

November 2, 2017 :: First Place
He earned himself a spot in the tournament.
He placed third in all the schools in the area.
He and his fellow classmate were also chosen by their teachers as Speakers of the Year from St. John’s.
This means that they each will have one more official speech to give…at graduation in May!
