The more opportunities Mason has to drive in all seasons, the better. We decided that he would drive us to school on Wednesdays so his practice is intentional and routine. He can also budget for time to warm up his car and scrape off the ice.

When I got home from the drop off, I realized that I was starting to feel yucky. The symptoms of the second Covid-19 vaccine were starting to settle in.  My arm was sore and heavy, I had a headache and some nausea, and I just felt blah. Thankfully, I had a pretty low key day planned and was able to sit and knit a lot.

When Bill checked on me this afternoon, he said magic words.  “Since you don’t feel well, let’s plan on carry in for dinner.” Bless his heart.

We ordered in from the Chinese restaurant and everyone was happy! I turned in early while the rest of the house buzzed until a normal bedtime hour.
